PM Modi’s Leadership Heralded as “Golden Age of Sanatan” by Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami

Date:

DEHRADUN — In a significant statement reflecting the cultural and political shifts in the country, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has characterized the current era under Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the “Golden Age of Sanatan.” Speaking at a recent public gathering, the Chief Minister emphasized that the nation is witnessing a profound spiritual and cultural revival that has long been awaited by millions.

The Chief Minister’s remarks come at a time when Uttarakhand is preparing for a busy pilgrimage season, and his administration continues to push for policies that align with cultural heritage and regional development. Dhami pointed to several landmark achievements as evidence of this resurgence, most notably the construction and consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, which he described as a symbol of India’s enduring faith and the fulfillment of a centuries-old dream.

A New Era of Cultural Pride

Addressing the audience, CM Dhami stated that after Narendra Modi assumed the role of Prime Minister, a renewed sense of pride in India’s ancient traditions—often referred to as Sanatan—has swept across the country. He credited the Prime Minister’s decisive leadership for providing the political will necessary to see projects like the Ram Mandir come to fruition.

“Under the leadership of our Prime Minister Modi, the Ram Temple was built,” Dhami said, highlighting that such milestones are not just architectural feats but are foundational to the identity of the nation. He further elaborated that this “golden age” is marked by the restoration of various cultural sites and a global recognition of Indian values and philosophies.

Infrastructure and Spiritual Growth

The Chief Minister’s speech also touched upon the synergy between spiritual growth and physical infrastructure. In Uttarakhand, often called “Devbhoomi” or the Land of the Gods, the state government has been working closely with the central government to improve connectivity to major religious sites. The ongoing development of the Char Dham all-weather road and the expansion of rail networks in the Himalayan region are seen as critical components of this vision.

CM Dhami highlighted that the ease of travel for pilgrims is a priority for his administration. By modernizing the infrastructure around these sacred sites, the government aims to ensure that devotees can practice their faith in a safe and comfortable environment. He noted that the influx of tourists and pilgrims significantly boosts the local economy, creating jobs and fostering regional prosperity.

Governance Rooted in Tradition

Beyond cultural projects, CM Dhami argued that the principles of Sanatan—emphasizing duty, service, and welfare for all—are being integrated into modern governance. He cited various social welfare schemes launched by the central and state governments as examples of “Antyodaya,” or the upliftment of the last person in the queue.

The Chief Minister reiterated his commitment to a transparent and accountable administration that serves every citizen without discrimination. By focusing on sustainable development in the hilly regions and protecting the unique ecology of the Himalayas, the Uttarakhand government seeks to balance progress with the preservation of its natural and spiritual heritage.

Moving Forward with Unity

Concluding his address, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami called for unity and a collective effort to take India to new heights. He expressed confidence that the momentum gained during this “Golden Age” would continue to propel the country toward becoming a global leader in both economic and moral terms.

As Uttarakhand moves forward with its ambitious development agenda, the Chief Minister’s words serve as a reminder of the cultural bedrock upon which these efforts are built. With a focus on heritage, infrastructure, and inclusive growth, the state aims to set an example of how traditional values can coexist with modern aspirations in the 21st century.
